The upcoming Redmi flagship device has been ruling the rumor mill for some time now. Now, the brand’s GM Lu Weibing took it to Weibo to tease another info about the device. He claims the device to be highly optimized for gaming. He claimed that the three key points involved in gaming, i.e., game delay, power consumption and frequency reduction have been addressed.
He also claimed earlier that the new device would sport a two day lasting battery. The other confirmed specs of the upcoming device include Snapdragon 855 SoC under the hood, an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner, which in turn implies to the use of an OLED panel.
The device will run on MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. The device is also expected to house triple rear cameras with a 48 MegaPixel main sensor. The front facing camera is supposed to be a 32 MegaPixel Pop-Up one. The device is expected to launch in China on 14th.
