Realme just revealed its new range of smartphones aimed at the selfie lovers in an event in India. The Realme U series. The first device in this series, the Realme U1 is now launched in the country. The device becomes the first one to come with the Mediatek Helio P70 SoC, the successor to the much appreciated Helio P60.
Other specs include a 6.3 inch Full HD+ display with a small notch up top, which they call the Dewdrop notch. Powering the phone up is a 3500 mAh battery. The device has dual cameras at the back with a 13 MP main sensor.The front facing camera is a 25 MP unit and is the key selling point of the device along with the brand new SoC. The device comes in 2 RAM/Storage variants- 3/32 GB and 4/64 GB.

The device also has support for face unlock and slow motion video capture at fps. The brand has been teasing the selfie camera on the device for sometime now. And if it is as as they are claiming, we will be having a new champion in the segment. The device sports a glass like finish in the back.
The device is priced at 11,999 for the 3/32 GB version and 14,499 for the 4/64 GB version. It will go on sale starting from 5th December at 12 noon via Amazon.
