Oppo launched their new Reno series of devices, Reno and Reno 10x in China a couple of months before. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker has launched those devices in the Indian market.
Oppo Reno 10x is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and comes in either 6+128 GB or 8+256 GB options. The USP of this device being its periscopic lens which can give upto 10x loseless hybrid zoom. The main camera is a 48 mp IMX 586 sensor, and there is a third ultrawide lens.
The display is a 6.6 inch AMOLED one with and optical in display fingerprint scanner beneath it. It also comes with HI-Res audio output and Dolby Atmos support.
The smaller sibling, Oppo Reno on the other hand is powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC and has a 6.4 inch AMOLED display. The camera department is handled by a 48 megapixel IMX 586 sensor with a 2x telephoto lens assisting it.
The selfie camera in both of them are hidden under a pivot type pop up mechanism, which they call the shark fin. Oppo Reno is priced at INR 32,999 for the 6+128 GB version. The Reno 10x is priced at INR 39,999 and 49,999 for the 6+128 GB and 8+256 GB variants respectively.
