It is a trend of brands these days i.e reducing prices of smartphones. Google has recently reduced the prices of Pixel 3 and 3 XL last day. The devices was launched in the third quarter last year. Instead of a small price cut Google has provided a massive price cut of ₹28,000. The devices are much cheaper and affordable now. The revised prices are as follows :-
- Pixel 3 (4 GB + 64 GB)- Rs 52,499
- Pixel 3 (4 GB + 128 GB)- 58,999
- Pixel 3 XL (4 GB + 64 GB)- Rs 54,999
- Pixel 3 XL (4 GB + 128 GB)- Rs 65,999
There is no official confirmation from Google whether the price cuts are permanent or temporary. The Pixel 3 series was priced very high that a normal person couldn’t afford it. The devices are now well priced and it’s the best time for buying a pixel phone. To recall the Pixel 3 XL’s base variant was priced at Rs 83000 while Pixel 3’s base variant was priced at Rs 71000.
Pixel 3 & 3 XL was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and offer 4GB RAM with up to 128GB internal storage. While the Google Pixel 3 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD+ OLED display, the Pixel 3 XL comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ OLED display. They run on Android 9.0 Pie. The Pixel 3 XL was having a weird notch while the Pixel 3 doesn’t have.
In terms of the camera, both, Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL, come with a 12.2MP dual pixel camera at the back and a dual camera setup with an 8MP wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens in the front. As far as the battery is concerned, the Pixel 3 features a 2,915 mAh battery, the Pixel 3 XL comes with a bigger 3,430mAh battery. Both the devices Qi wireless charging technology and 18W fast charging technology among other things.
