Redmi India has already scheduled an event on 28th of this month to launch the Redmi Note 7. Now we have strong reasons to believe that the Redmi Note 7 Pro will make its debut alongside the Note 7 on the same day. According to information, Redmi is planning two launch events in India within a period of two weeks. The Note 7 Pro is expected to come in appear in any one of that. But we expect Redmi to pull off something like the Note 5 Pro when they debuted the device in India. That leaves us with a high probability of an Indian debut.
The next launch event being in the first half of March might bring the Android GO based Redmi GO to the Indian market. Redmi Note 7 was the first device launched by the sub-brand after they split up from their parent brand Xiaomi. The device was announced in China in January and went on sale a few days later. The Note 7 is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. The main USP of the device is the dual rear cameras with a 48 MP Samsung GM1 primary sensor. The front and back of the device is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The specs of the upcoming Note 7 Pro is also not much of a mystery. The rear primary sensor on the Note 7 is replaced by the Sony IMX 586 which is a native 48 MP sensor. The SoC might also get a reasonable upgrade to the Snapdragon 675 as per some leaks. The device might also retain the huge 4000 mAH from the Note 7. It would also sport QC 4.0+ charging standards. The device is also expected to house an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner and an AMOLED display.
There is no information on the pricing details of the device or when it will go on sale. But we are eagerly waiting to find that out at launch.
